"On the Road" came from exactly what
it sounds like, out a car window holding the
steering wheel with one knee or pulled over on the
shoulder of the road. People who enjoy taking
pictures will tell you the greatest pictures they
don't have are those they saw when they did not have
a camera to capture them. You can name a time that
just about ever photo nut in the family has said "I
wish I had my camera right now, that is a great
photo." While driving cross country and short trips
to the store, I kept seeing things I thought would
make great pictures, yet I never had my camera
handy. I decided that I should keep a camera handy
for this occasion. I stuck a small one in my purse,
put one in the center console of my car and tried to
remember my larger camera when I was going to by
outside somewhere. It seemed to pay off. I enjoy
these shots as much today as I did the day I first
took them. I hope you enjoy them. Please also take a
look at the computer graphics section as you will
see many of these photo's used in Graphic Arts on
that page.
